Set in a Yorkshire coastal town, the film follows the story of Pete , a dishevelled and enigmatic man in his 30s who meets a teenage girl, Laurie , an emotionally withdrawn student who lives with her mother . As they spend more time together and form a precarious friendship, their bond grows, unravelling the truth behind Pete’s motives.
Writer-director Nathalie Biancheri’s narrative feature debut was co-written with Olivia Waring. Producers include Colin Michael Day and Coco Marie Schneider. Urban Distribution handles sales.
