Bell and Brody, who have worked together in the past, are reuniting for the Netflix romcom series Nobody Wants This, which premieres on September 26, and consists of ten episodes. Nobody Wants This Is A Romcom Reunion With Potential Bell's Character Falls For Brody's Rabbi Nobody Wants This focuses centers on the unlikely relationship that forms between an the agnostic Joanne , and the unconventional rabbi Noah , showing what happens when they meet at a dinner party.
“An agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. When they walk out — together — the unlikely pair, Joanne and Noah, can tell there is something between them. But also potentially between them, with their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families — including her sister Morgan and his brother Sasha.
Succession's Justine Lupe and Veep's Timothy Simons also star in the Netflix romcom. Lupe, known for playing Willa on Succession, will play Joanne's sister. Simons, who portrayed Jonah Ryan on Veep, stars as Noah's older brother. The recurring also includes Jackie Tohn , Michael Hitchcock , Paul Ben-Victor , Sherry Cola , Shiloh Bearman , Stephanie Faracy , Tania Raymonde , and four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh.
