Correspondence: Nobel nominators — which women will you suggest?
It is the time of the year when many researchers, me included, are invited to nominate candidates for the Nobel prize committees to consider.
By the end of this month, I , for instance, must choose up to three scientists and submit a summary of the discovery that makes them most deserving of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. So, too, must thousands of other senior researchers from whom recommendations are sought — professors, laureates and members of scholarly societies .
