Noah Lyles is the latest athlete at the 2024 Paris Olympics to test positive for COVID. On Aug. 8, Lyles competed in the 200-meter race and finished third, securing the bronze medal. The 27-year-old was favored in the event and was trying to sweep in both the 100-meter and 200-meter races, which hasn’t been done by Team USA since Carl Lewis pulled off the impressive feat 40 years ago. Lyes won the 100-meter title on Aug. 4, but four days later he seemed winded.
