A brand new Spider-Man: No Way Home behind-the-scenes video reveals the filming of Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man introduction. Starring in Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man films, the actor's stint as the hero was cut short after plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 were scrapped. Instead, the character was rebooted in the MCU, with Tom Holland playing a younger iteration of the webslinger.
While Spider-Man: No Way Home's story picked up directly after the ending of 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home, which outed Peter Parker's secret superhero identity, it didn't dwell much on this plotline. Instead, Spider-Man, alongside Doctor Strange needed to deal with the unexpected arrival of interdimensional villains to Earth such as Doc Ock , Green Goblin and Electro .
