Authorities at Tel-Aviv airport were shocked when a couple ditched their baby at the check-in counter for Raynair Airlines.

According to the Airport Authorities, the couple did not have a ticket for the infant and simply left him at the counter as they raced to catch their flight.

‘The check-in agent at Ben Gurion Airport contacted Airport Security, who retrieved the passengers, and this is now a matter for local police.’ Cellphone footage of the moment airport staff found the abandoned baby has also been shared on youtube:
