The Selangor Islamic Religious Department says the Al Munawwarah Mosque in Shah Alam is open for prayers.
SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Islamic Religious Department has denied ordering the closure of the Al Munawwarah Mosque in Section 27 here because of Covid-19 infection. A report had said the mosque has been temporarily closed after a member of the congregation, who returned from Vietnam, was believed to be down with Covid-19.
“No directive was issued for the mosque to close. It will continue to open for all prayers,” JAIS director Mohd Shahzihan Ahmad said.
