BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday (April 21) recorded no new Covid-19 cases for the second consecutive day. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the country remains at 138.

The details were provided by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Mohd Isham Jaafar at a press conference for the latest updates in the Covid-19 outbreak.

“This brings the number of active cases being treated at the National Isolation Centre to 21, where two are still in a critical condition and require heart/lung machine and respiratory assistance. The rest are in a stable condition.” In the past 24 hours, 273 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 11,906 tests.”

The minister reminded the public visiting patients in hospitals to follow the set rules and regulations.
