For two consecutive days, San Juan City has reported zero new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) deaths and infections.
According to Mayor Francis Zamora, the number of COVID-19 cases in the city remains at 302 with 40 deaths and 138 recoveries as of May 23.
May 23 is the second day that the city has recorded no new infection since March 12 when President Duterte imposed a 30-day lockdown in Metro Manila starting midnight of March 15.“Napakagandang balita po para sa ating lahat ,” Zamora said.
