Hello Games has announced a brand new community event, named Singularity, which will see the game’s community collaborate on a new live quest over the next few weeks, with rewards up for grabs.
The event kicks off today, and will see players working with Nada and Polo on the space anomaly as they investigate the mysterious appearance of peculiar robot heads that have popped up all over the galaxy, offering mysterious clues. During the course of the next five weeks, they’ll get to undertake a series of missions that will lead them on a mystery that started off in the Interceptor update.
By the end of the event, however, we’re promised that players will have a good idea of what to expect in the next No Man’s Sky expansion – and beyond. To sweeten the deal, there’ll also be a bunch of rewards and cosmetics to earn – including a full character customisation set to turn your character into a robot. Check it out in the trailer below. It’s an exciting time for NMS fans, as just last week, the interstellar sandbox game made its way to Mac for the first time.
