PUTRAJAYA: No local Covid-19 infections were reported for the second consecutive day, although six imported cases brought the total number of cases to 8,683.
At a press conference today, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 13 patients had recovered, bringing the total number of patients discharged so far to 8,499, or 97.8% of total cases.Two patients were currently being treated in the intensive care unit , with one of them requiring respiratory assistance.
