Hernia, PRO 4-B chief, said they are committed in ensuring the safety and security of the people in the region as they spend quality time with their families and loved ones during the New Year’s celebration.
Seventy-seven incidents in the eight focus crimes were recorded in the period compared to 99 in the previous year, a decrease of 22.22 percent. Among the crimes that showed a remarkable decrease include physical injuries , rape , and carnapping . “I commend the men and women of PRO Mimaropa in their relentless effort to maintain peace and order region-wide in this Yuletide season. Let us maintain this vigor throughout the New Year’s celebration,” Hernia said.
