A RESIDENT of Jalan Bukit Desa in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur, has once again resorted to blocking a portion of the road in front of his home to show his exasperation with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

PETALING JAYA: Attempts to break up Bersatu will not work even though two of its MPs have shifted their allegiance to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, says party secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

On Oct 12, Iskandar Dzulkarnain said that he was in support of Anwar’s leadership despite being a Perikatan MP.“The leadership of Bersatu is committed to staying loyal to the leadership of Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Any attempts by outsiders to drive a wedge into the party's unity through the actions of Kuala Kangsar and Labuan MPs will not succeed.

“The party will not compromise with any disciplinary misconduct among its members, especially among its MPs and state assemblymen. He said that this course of action would be in place while awaiting the results of the Bersatu disciplinary board on Iskandar Dzulkarnain and Suhaili, who were both Kuala Kangsar and Labuan Bersatu division chiefs, respectively.
