Malaysian road safety officials are to conduct an assessment of the latest Axia cars produced by Perodua following reports of a rigged safety test in Japan.
Wong Shaw Voon, who heads the institute said the assessments would be of the latest Axia models produced by Perodua to ensure safety of the cars.
