STANFORD – Once the Oregon Ducks got rolling against Stanford, it didn’t stop.
Most of Stanford’s offense came from scrambles and designed runs by quarterback Justin Lamson, who had 22 rushes for 33 yards. That total included being sacked four times for a loss of 28 yards. The Syracuse transfer also completed 11 of 20 passes for 106 yards. The Ducks had averaged 54 points and 570 yards entering Saturday’s game, but had just three plays for six yards in the first quarter.
