CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Kyle McCord will lead the Ohio State buckeyes in battle Saturday after being officially named the Buckeyes’ QB1 earlier in the week.
His first task will be to lift the Buckeyes, ranked No. 6 in the latest college football AP poll, to 3-0. Standing in the way of that are the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky, who are also 2-0 after scoring a combined 93 points in the first two weeks of the season. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. on FOX Sports.OSU beat reporters Stephen Means, Nathan Baird and Andrew Gillis, as well as Tim Bielik and Jimmy Watkins.
