Northern Highlands took down Chatham in a rematch of last year's Group 3 semifinal.

Their revenge tour began in the North 1, Group 3 quarterfinals when they raced past Old Tappan 4-0. That win awarded them a date with Ramapo in the semifinals, and they promptly won 5-2. Chatham was last on that list, and the Highlanders took care of business on their home turf. Chatham looked like the better offensive team during the opening 10 minutes, but in the 12th minute Geller was able to shield the ball, and then her shot went in between the legs of Chatham goalie Lucy Arps.
Buchanan continued the first half onslaught when she poked in a goal in the 35th minute. Sophia Mamumes made the play happen by creating the turnover, and then Buchanan beat two defenders to the ball just to get a toe on it. “I think that me, Meghan, and Ava just know how to play with one another,” Geller said. “I’ve been playing with Ava for almost 10 years and Meghan almost four. We just flow together and I’m so proud of the way that we’ve come together. I feel like we can play with each other with our eyes closed.”
With less than a minute left senior goalie Avery Hirsch saved a corner, and the second chance was sent wide, and that was when the celebrations started.
