The No. 3 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes head to East Lansing to face the Michigan State Spartans in their first Big Ten game of the season. Ohio State is looking to continue their dominance over Michigan State, having won the last eight meetings.
No. 3 Ohio State visits Michigan State in the Buckeyes' Big Ten opener Saturday. It's also OSU's first road game of the season.
"We had no one that we thought really showed a silver-bullet-of-the-game performance," defensive coordinator Jim Knowles said during his weekly media availability on Tuesday.The Buckeyes allowed a long touchdown drive on Marshall's opening possession, and only recorded one sack the entire game. "I think they changed a little bit more on offense, more of what they did at Oregon State, huddling, a little bit more under center, some more 12 personnel," he said. "You've got to do a good job of being ready for the unexpected and have a good plan, but to me it's ultimately going to come down to handling the road, handling the noise, being really good with the football, running the football and stopping the run.
