"I love playing with Jacy," senior forward Rebeka Mikulasikova said."She’s amazing. I don’t know how she does everything that she’s doing on the court, but she’s amazing. She pressures the ball, she knows where to go at the right time and it’s amazing to play with her. She helps the whole team." Mikulasikova has been a strong presence for the Buckeyes through the first two games of the season, and her increased assurance is evident on the floor. In a game where neither Sheldon nor Taylor Mikesell had their usual shooting touch — and still combined for 30 points, despite shooting 12-of-26 — Mikulasikova stepped up.
Added McGuff:"She really helps us space the floor. There’s not a lot of big people, post players, that can do that. It puts a lot of pressure on the opposing team’s post player to try to find her at all times. Hit some big shots tonight. It was a great game for her."
