After a soft nonconference schedule, UCLA is finding out whether it can compete with the best in the Pac-12. It wasn’t clear exactly how good Washington was, given its best win came against Michigan State – which isn’t nearly as good as the No. 11 ranking it had at the time.
Like in UCLA’s matchup last week against Washington, both offenses are led by dual-threat quarterbacks and should have no problem piling on points on any given Saturday. But Utah’s defense is unlike any the Bruins have faced so far, with a better track record than the Bruins’ defense. With that, the edge goes to Utah.UCLA wide receiver Jake Bobo vs. Utah cornerback Clark Phillips III.
