NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line and Northeast Corridor rail service was suspended in both directions around 9 a.m. due to Amtrak overhead wire issues.However, around 3 p.m., a whole slew of trains started getting canceled again.Amtrak service was also temporarily suspended between Philadelphia and New York on the Northeast Corridor but has since been partially restored.
Some of the frustrated travelers included stressed-out college students, weary home-bound revelers and everyday commuters just trying to get to work.
