Rooftop solar and offshore wind require the largest subsidies.
Small-scale solar projects like this require three times as large a subsidy as large-scale solar projects. If you take a calm and objective look at the climate crisis, it seems reasonable to scream in despair, stockpile rice and beans for your children, and buy a hilltop plot of land with a solar generator to survive the coming apocalypse.
