Patriots player Matt Judon launched his first restaurant venture, a Southern fusion cuisine concept, in Dallas.
The name “NINE” stands for Niche Community, Innovative Menu, Nightlife Experience, and Elevated Entertainment, the company explained in a press release earlier this year.The restaurant has an outdoor patio and a speakeasy with live entertainment and other events.
The menu includes appetizers like fried green tomatoes with whipped remoulade; handheld options like Matt’s Chopped Cheese, with oxtail, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, Nine hot sauce and white sauce; and entrees like New Zealand lamb jerky with beef demi-glace, burnt allium puree and Meyer lemon gel, or the Cowboy steak, a bone-in cowboy ribeye with cowboy butter. Vegan options are available.
