Nilai ringgit masih kukuh - Amir Hamzah
KUALA LUMPUR: Kerajan memberi jaminan nilai ringgit masih kukuh walaupun terdapat pelbagai perkembangan dan penyesuaian pasaran baru-baru ini.
Dari segi perkembangan global, perubahan jangkaan kadar dasar monetari yang lebih rendah di ekonomi utama global, khususnya di AS telah menyumbang kepada pengukuhan ringgit. Guan Eng yang juga bekas Menteri Kewangan itu turut meminta Amir Hamzah menjelaskan apakah nilai yang berpatutan selaras dengan kenaikan pelaburan asing, pertumbuhan Hasil Dalam Negeri Kasar yang menggalakkan dan kadar inflasi terkawal.
“Seterusnya, ekonomi negara dijangka mencatat perkembangan antara 4.8 peratus hingga 5.3 peratus untuk keseluruhan tahun 2024. Inflasi masih rendah dan terkawal pada 1.8 peratus di bulan September 2024.
