William Hill is offering odds of 50/1 on Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, winning the 2024 presidential election.

The odds on former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley winning the 2024 presidential election have improved sharply over the past few days, according to a leading bookmaker, after social media speculation that Donald Trump could follow the example set by President Joe Biden and drop out of the contest. On August 6, William Hill, a betting company in the U.K., offered odds of 250/1 on Haley being elected president in November, but these were slashed to 50/1 on Thursday.

'The former governor of South Carolina—who exited the race in March—was a no-hoper at 250/1 on Tuesday, but we've seen good support for her in the last 48 hours, so much so that she has shortened all the way into 50/1.'It's too early to say whether we could be seeing a move within the Republican Party to replace Donald Trump, but interestingly, the former president is weak in the market, and there is now nothing to split him and Kamala Harris at 10/11.
