Nikki Glaser said she ‘felt like Taylor Swift’ after the success of her roast of Tom Brady during Netflix’s hit comedy special earlier this year
Nikki Glaser is reflecting on her overnight success after stealing the show during The Roast of Tom Brady in May.
In fact, the attention on Glaser was so stratospheric following the May 5 Netflix broadcast that she felt like a certain pop superstar.Since roasting the former NFL quarterback, Glaser has booked some huge comedy gigs, including the upcoming Golden Globes on January 5, 2025. In May, Glaser infamously took aim at Brady in a savage roast that mocked his divorce from model Gisele Bündchen and his $30 million cryptocurrency loss. 'You have seven rings. Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back,' she quipped at one point.
“I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun,” Brady told “The Pivot Podcast” in May. “I didn’t like the way that affected my kids. So it’s the hardest part about, like, the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way, and then all of a sudden you realize I wouldn’t do that again because of the way that affected, actually, the people that I care about most in the world.
