Mr Eweremadu appeared at court in a grey tracksuit top and only spoke to confirm his name by saying “Yes, miss”. Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of Nigeria’s former deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu, leaves the Old Bailey, London’s Central Criminal Court, in London on January 31, 2023. According to reports, Sonia is currently in hospital with a condition – which was not disclosed to the court.
