GB News host Nigel Farage has delivered a scathing assessment of Gavin Newsom – declaring the governor has been “running California into the ground”. Speaking to Sky News Australia host Paul Murray about the current state of politics in the United States, Mr Farage said Gavin Newsom appears to be the favourite to replace Joe Biden. Mr Farage also repeated his belief that Joe Biden will not be the Democrat candidate for the 2024 Presidential election. He said there are now a “host of voices” all over the United States saying Mr Biden has to be replaced. “And it looks like the favourite is Gavin Newsom – the man that’s been running California into the ground, with education failing, crime rising, an epidemic of homelessness,” Mr Farage said. “It looks like he’s the best, probably, the Dems have got.”
