Nicole Kidman is setting the record straight about a memed photo of her from 2001 that was widely believed to be about her divorce from Tom Cruise.
“That was not me; that was from a film, that wasn’t real life. I know that image!” she told the outlet, without naming the movie she was referring to. “’Cause I had a massive heavy borrowed ring on and it was really painful, and I was scared of wrecking the jewelry,” she told the outlet on Monday. “Ha! There’s always something behind the actual images that go out there, right?”
While discussing her meme-worthy moments, Kidman also got candid about morality and grief. The Babygirl actress explained that her emotions are “even more” close to the surface in her 50s.
