Nicolas Cage will be reprising his role as Spider-Man Noir in the live-action Amazon series Noir.
Nicolas Cage is ready to don the Spider-Man Noir suit again — only this time, in live-action. Amazon has confirmed that Cage will be reprising the role that he previously voiced in the animated film Into the Spider-Verse.
The new series, which was first reported last year, is simply called Noir and, according to Amazon, “tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.” Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot will serve as co-showrunners, while Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal, who worked on the Spider-Verse films, will be executive producers.
