Nicola Sturgeon makes first Holyrood contribution since resigning as First Minister
Nicola Sturgeon has made her first parliamentary contribution as a backbench MSP following her resignation as First Minister.While she has taken part in several votes at Holyrood in the weeks since her resignation, she has so refrained from speaking in the chamber.
The motion called for parliament to welcome the news the Govanhill Baths Community Trust had received £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund. Sturgeon denied last month that her decision to resign as First Minister was motivated by the on-going police investigation into SNP finances.
