A forensic search expert has said he thinks a third party involvement is probable in Nicola Bulley's disappearance should today's river search yield no results.
Today, the search continues upstream and around the area where Nicola's phone was found with private diving team Specialist Group International using advanced sonar equipment to aid their efforts. Head of the team, Peter Faulding, said if his team doesn't find anything today, it is likely someone else was involved in Nicola's disappearance.
He said police divers have already thoroughly searched that stretch of the river and wouldn't have missed anything. However, specialist equipment used by his team could help to "completely rule out anything".
