Breaking news as police make a statement on recent river searches
Lancashire Constabulary have issued a statement following 'speculation' regarding divers in the river close to where mum-of-two Nicola Bulley was last seen.
Last week, walkers reported police divers had returned to the area where the tragic mum was last seen in February. Lancashire Constabulary had concluded its investigation into her disappearance on the basis that it had found no suspicious circumstances.Today , the force has called out 'misinformed speculation' regarding the reasons they were in the river - clarifying they attended the scene on orders of HM Coroner.
