Lancashire Police have just given an update on their search for missing woman Nicola Bulley, 45, who vanished while out walking her dog last Friday.
She confirmed the main hypothesis is that the mother fell into the River Wyre, but the reason for this remains unclear.Police as sure as they can be that missing mother never left the river area - and it's what had been expected, has given his immediate reaction to the police update on the search for Nicola Bulley, who vanished a week ago.
"Also I think what’s interesting again was a more detailed description of the clothing that Nicola was wearing. An ankle-length gilet, a coat underneath that. Tight black jeans, ankle wellies. All of those you can imagine if you get plunged into the water somehow are going to absorb water and inevitably contribute to making it more difficult for you to get out of the water.
It was added that there is"quite a steep drop to the river" from the area where Ms Bulley's phone was located.
