Nicola Adams, one of the most significant trailblazers in women's sporting history, has decided to offer her thoughts on the current controversy surrounding Imane Khelif
Nicola Adams OBE has stuck her head above the parapet to criticise the decision to allow Imane Khelif to compete in the Olympic Games.

She tweeted: "Have a lot of people texting me over Imane Khelif. Personally I don't think she has done anything to 'cheat'. I think it's the way she was born and that's out of her control. The fact that she has been beaten by nine females before says it all." Khelif's last victory by stoppage occurred in September 2023, when she overcame Grace Mwakamele. She is gearing up for a quarter-final bout with Hungary's Luca Anna Hamori.
