The couple, who have stayed out of the spotlight in recent months, revealed their daughter spent months in the newborn intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai in LA, but that they have finally been able to bring her home after a "challenging few months." Priyanka and Nick each shared the same touching message about their newborn on their respective Instagram feeds, alongside a sweet family photograph. “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced,” they wrote.
Nick added a special note to his caption and wrote: "Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers and caretakers out there, but I want to take a minute to say a special Mother’s Day wish to my incredible wife @priyankachopra on her first Mother’s Day." It was followed by a sweet closing message: “I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you.
