The 35-year-old is wanted by authorities in Utah for allegedly raping a woman in 2008 as well as additional complaints of domestic violence.

A rape suspect accused of faking his own death to avoid prosecution can be extradited to the US to face charges, after Scottish ministers signed his extradition order.

A court ruled in August there was no impediment to the 35-year-old being extradited and the decision was then placed before Scottish ministers.
