He also expressed excitement about Marvel's plans for the X-Men and wouldn't shy away from returning as Beast if the opportunity arose.
Hoult's enthusiasm for the X-Men aligns with Marvel Studios' confirmed plans to integrate the team into the MCU. However, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has hinted that fans will have to wait for the X-Men's on-screen debut. It's believed that the studio will first reintroduce actors from Fox's X-Men films, similar to Patrick Stewart's recent return as Charles Xavier. These appearances, though, were more like special cameos rather than setting the stage for the MCU's future X-Men.When the X-Men officially join the MCU, Marvel is likely to cast new actors, creating a distinct identity separate from Fox's previous iterations. There's no guarantee Beast will be included in the reboot, as Marvel's lineup for the X-Men remains uncertain. Given Beast's prominent role in recent Fox films, the studio might choose to focus on other mutants. Furthermore, Hoult's commitment to the DC Universe as Lex Luthor could hinder his availability for the MCU. Unless Lex Luthor's involvement is a one-time appearance, Hoult's DC commitments are likely to keep him busy for several years, making his return as Beast less probable.
