After missing out on serving superstar Lizzo her much-craved 'spice bag' when she was in Belfast, a local food spot has started a campaign to unite the singer with their popular special.
It was quickly revealed that the spice bag in question was from LASA Belfast, a Filipino fusion stall at Common Market in the city centre.Elizabeth and Conor Brennan, owners of LASA, are now determined to make it up to the "Good as Hell" singer by promising her free vegan spice bags for life and renaming the dish "The Lizzo".
On how this all started, Elizabeth said: "Conor's my husband and he always picks up our son Ethan from school on a Thursday but then he was on a work call and I was like I'll pick him up because it wasn't that busy. "The next day, one of my staff sent me the TikTok that Lizzo had done and she was eating the mushrooms from next door and I was like 'please don't tell me that's me - the more she talked about the situation I was like that's definitely me."
