A local representative said to target a person working for the emergency services was 'disgusting'
A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service staff member has had the windows of his car smashed while he worked in Newry.
When he returned on Wednesday morning, he found that the windows had been smashed and someone had tried to pry open the car to get inside.Alliance Party Representative for Newry, Helen Young, condemned the criminal damage. "This vandalism and damage to property is not acceptable and in this particular case, to target a person who works in the emergency services is disgusting.
"This morning this person was sourcing parts to fix his car, covering an expense which was created by someone else's antisocial behaviour, that is completely unacceptable.
