We might’ve all clapped for the NHS but there are still ways we’re failing our carers – such as stockpiling and leaving them without food and by not socially distancing.coronavirusA paramedic has had to hit back at trolls who shamed her for wearing ‘too much’ makeup while on shift.While thousands thanked her for all the work she and her team do, some took the chance to criticise her choice to wear makeup.
Some wrote comments such as: ‘Proud to be a heavily made-up paramedic for this photo,’ and ‘Wtf really? “Look at me I’m gorgeous and I work for the NHS” selfies for a few likes while people are dying’.Others wrote: ‘Seriously? I think that you’ve probably got better things to do than trout pout!’ and ‘There is a national crisis. Stop taking selfies and looking for attention for one day of your life ‘.
The 24-year-old says has been disappointed in the reaction to ‘one harmless selfie and is ‘sick’ of people judging her by her looks.
