The NHL's Anaheim Ducks got an incredible endorsement for their new uniforms on Tuesday when a former 'Mighty Ducks' star gave one to host Seth Meyers.
The Anaheim Ducks uniforms underwent a design overhaul this offseason. Love it or hate it, the team undeniably leaned heavily into its roots — both as Orange County's lone NHL franchise and as the real-life offspring of the 1990s Disney movie franchise 'The Mighty Ducks.
Meyers recalled that Thompson was the best skater among the SNL cast whenever they would take to The Rink At Rockefeller Center. Thompson then mentions that he learned how to skate in preparation for his first film role on D2 30 years ago.'Everybody forgets, or they think it's just a movie but we really learned how to skate,' Thompson said. 'We have a great relationship with the NHL now because of those movies. They were awesome, because it was legitimate.
