So today, I’m renewing a suggestion I’ve made in the past: The NHL should keep the same system, but draw the balls one at a time. At this point, there would be only 14 combos left in play; some teams would be out completely, and others would have multiple numbers still in play. And people would be losing their minds. Not just fans, but everyone. And then we draw the last number at the end of the game.
