Power transmission operations in Luzon are back to normal as NGCP successfully completed the restoration of lines affected by TyphoonNormalization of the Luzon grid came after NGCP restored the last affected San Esteban-Bangued 69kV line at 6:06 AM today, 28 July 2023.The remaining unavailable Bantay-Banaoang 69kV line is a dedicated line connected directly to an industrial customer, the company said.
Even while the typhoon was crossing the Philippine landmass, NGCP began assessment and restoration efforts in areas already accessible.
