After both teams lost - while one actually played a good game - the Seahawks are a field goal underdog for Thursday Night.
Hey the Seattle Seahawks are in first place! Three of the four NFC West teams all lost in Week 5, which means the Seahawks retain the most pitiful divisional lead in the sport right now. Surprisingly, the San Francisco 49ers aren’t playing much better than Seattle at the moment, and both teams got just three days to turn around and play yet more football. Fortunately, the Seahawks get to stay home.
Perhaps that contributes to FanDuel Sportsbook’s opening line, as Seattle opens the week as just a three-point underdog to their divisional rival. Thursday typically promises some pretty ugly football, and these two teams have excelled at that thus far. That probably also contributes to the Over/Under being set at 47.5, the fifth-highest mark of the week. Not a lot of faith in either defense at the moment, and that seems pretty reasonable.
