OVERTIMEThe Bears went three-and-out on the opening possession of overtime, and Minnesota made them pay.On the eighth play of the drive, Vikings QB Sam Darnold hit TE TJ Hockenson for a 29-yard completion, putting them at the Bears 9-yard line. Two plays later, John Parker Romo connected on a walk-off 29-yard field goal for Minnesota.FOURTH QUARTERChicago got to within three points of Minnesota with 22 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and then recovered an onside kick.
THIRD QUARTERDeAndre Carter muffed a punt for Chicago, and Bo Richter recovered the loose ball for Minnesota. Five plays later, Aaron Jones ran in a 2-yard touchdown for the Vikings, who led 24-10 with 1:22 remaining in the quarter.SECOND QUARTERMinnesota took a 14-7 lead following touchdown passes from Sam Darnold to wide receivers Jordan Addison — who reeled in a 45-yard completion one play before his respective score — and Jalen Nailor.
