The Seattle Seahawks quarterback and his wife urged the audience to rally behind their local food banks with whatever donation they could.

In a short video posted on Twitter on Tuesday night, the Wilsons explained the meals will be donated to the local Seattle community via Food Lifeline in the hope"it will make a difference" and urged the public to support local food banks in"whichever way you can, big or small".According to its website, Food Lifeline distributes food to over 300 food banks, shelters and meal programs throughout the Western Washington area.

Wilson acknowledged coronavirus was"changing the world second by second, minute by minute", but he and his wife insisted a strong sense of community was crucial to overcome the pandemic."Together we will conquer these tough times we are going through." In the video, the Wilsons also urged the audience to observe the social distancing measures recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.
