Beathard completed 5-of-7 passes for 40 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions and ran twice for 10 yards. But he also was roughed up, sacked three times for 32 yards in losses, and left the game in the fourth quarter.
· Panthers linebacker Tae Davis record two tackles on defense, made one tackle on special teams and broke up one pass. Davis was carted to the locker room in the second half after sustaining an injury to his left leg. · Brian Robinson Jr. started at running back for the Commanders. Robinson ran for 22 yards on three carries.· Commanders offensive tackle Trent Scott did not record any stats.· Tua Tagovailoa started at quarterback for the Dolphins. Tagovailoa completed 5-of-5 passes for 51 yards, capping Miami’s opening possession with a 13-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver River Cracraft with 4:36 left in the first quarter. Tagovailoa did not play in the remainder of the game.
