After the Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders 29-18 on Saturday afternoon, the Bears beat the Green Bay Packers 22-16 in overtime on Saturday night. The Packers would have passed Chicago into first place in the NFC North standings with a victory. But the Bears kicked a field goal with 1:59 left in the fourth quarter, recovered an onside kick, scored a touchdown with 24 seconds remaining in regulation and won on a 46-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Caleb Williams to wide receiver DJ Moore in overtime. The victory left Chicago in need of one win in its remaining two regular-season games to secure the NFC North crown for the first time since 2018. After trailing 10-7 at halftime, Philadelphia ran off the first 22 points of the second half to lock up a second straight NFC East title. Bigsby scored his first touchdown of the 2025 season on a 22-yard run as Philadelphia took a 29-10 lead with 4:26 to play.Commanders wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks is on the practice squad and not eligible to play. Eagles linebacker Jihaad Campbell made five tackles on defense, recorded one tackle for loss and had one tackle on special teams. Campbell got extra time with the Philadelphia defense after linebacker Nakobe Dean went out in the first quarter with a hamstring injury and did not return. Commanders running back Jacory “Bill” Croskey-Merritt ran eight times for 25 yards and one touchdown. Croskey-Merritt’s 1-yard touchdown plunge put Washington ahead 10-7 with 3:40 left in the first half.Jalen Hurts started at quarterback for the Eagles. Hurts completed 22-of-30 passes for 185 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and ran seven times for 40 yards. Hurt threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver DeVonta Smith as Philadelphia took a 7-3 lead with 2:37 left in the first quarter and a 15-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dallas Goedert as the Eagles took a 14-10 lead with 3:27 left in the third quarter. Commanders cornerback Noah Igbinoghene made two tackles and recorded one tackle for loss.Commanders linebacker Ale Kaho did not record any stats. Eagles tight end Cameron Latu was designated as a game-day inactive. A stinger had Latu’s participation listed as questionable on the injury report before the game.Daron Payne started at defensive tackle for the Commanders. Payne made five tackles. Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves made two tackles on defense and one tackle on special teams.DeVonta Smith started at wide receiver for the Eagles. Smith had six receptions for 42 yards and one touchdown. Smith scored Philadelphia’s first points on a 5-yard reception with 2:37 left in the first quarter. Smith also recovered an onside kick with 70 seconds to play. Tyler Steen started at right guard for the Eagles. Steen and Washington defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw and safety Quan Martin were disqualified from further participation following a fracas that broke out after Philadelphia scored a 2-point conversion to take a 29-10 lead with 4:26 remaining. Eagles defensive tackle Byron Young made three tackles and recorded the third sack of his NFL career – all in the past three games.In its next game, Philadelphia plays the Buffalo Bills at 3:25 p.m. CST Dec. 28 at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. Jacobs ran for 36 yards on 12 carries, caught two passes for 12 yards and lost a fumble on a first-down carry from the Chicago 4-yard line with 9:08 left in the third quarter. The rushing attempt was the last of the game for Jacobs, who did not practice during the week because of a knee injury. Xavier McKinney started at safety for the Packers. McKinney made six tackles and broke up one pass.Packers quarterback Malik Willis completed 9-of-11 passes for 121 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions and ran 10 times for 44 yards. Willis made his third appearance of the season when starter Jordan Love left the game with 8:15 left in the first half after taking a roughing-the-passer hit. Willis entered the game with Green Bay leading 3-0. He threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Romeo Doubs as the Packers took a 13-3 lead with 33 seconds left in the third quarter. In overtime, Willis fumbled a fourth-and-1 snap at the Chicago 36-yard line to end Green Bay’s possession in the extra period. Colby Wooden started at defensive tackle for the Packers. Wooden made two tackles and registered one quarterback hit. In its next game, Green Bay plays the Baltimore Ravens at 7 p.m. Saturday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
