The Bills host Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins, getting their chance to slow the NFL’s most explosive offense with first place in the AFC East at stake.
In a September 2022 home game against the Bills, Tagovailoa stumbled following a first-half hit but returned to the game after being cleared by doctors. Four days later, he was taken from the field on a stretcher and transported by ambulance to a hospital after suffering a concussion during a game at Cincinnati. He suffered his second diagnosed concussion of the season during a Christmas game against the Green Bay Packers and did not play again last season.
That will be followed by two games at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: Jaguars-Bills next Sunday and Ravens-Titans on Oct. 15. The Jaguars will become the first NFL team to play consecutive regular season games outside the United States. The league’s international ambitions are growing. Peter O’Reilly, the NFL’s executive vice president of club business, international and league events, said Friday that league representatives made recent visits to Spain and Brazil, but there is “no timeline” for decisions about the possibility of future regular season games there.“We routinely review cities and stadiums around the world that could potentially host NFL games,” O’Reilly said. “We want to take games to new markets in the future.
